The Inventory Control Coordinator prepares and manages stock counts to maintain an accurate stock level within
the store. They monitor all aspects of inventory processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and

Key Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Drive, assist and manage stocktakes and counts
• Assist with annual inventory counts including pre-counts
• Ensure transfer cut-off dates are adhered to
• Follow up on daily stock delivery discrepancies
• Control manual transfer forms, write-off forms, delivery discrepancy report. System input of location-tolocation
• Audit, process, sort, count and transfer out merchandise for pending Reverse Logistics (RL) and Inter-Division
Transfers (IDT)
• Maintain and provide clearance of invalid SKUs
• Follow up on Inventory accuracy systems and procedures, i.e. GWPs, promotions
• Provide consistent feedback on ways to streamline systems currently in place
• Verify and distribute processing documents to WSSC
• Process Direct Store Delivery (DSD) shipments received at the stores and warehouse (cross-dock)
• Review, maintain and process Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) shipments; balance warehouse inventory
• Distribute uniforms stocked in warehouse
Location specific requirements, if applicable:
• Manage all Spirit/Wine/Tobacco (SWT) breakages
• Process write-offs & manage Did Not Turn Up items (DNTUs)
• Oversee maintenance of vendor UPC barcodes
• Monitor outstanding shipment acknowledgement, follow up with Logistics team to ensure completion of
booking process
• Forecast and ordering of Security Tamper-Evident Bags (STEBs)
• Manage pre-order release function and review outstanding pre-orders
• Comply with company policy and procedures relating to inventory management
• Comply with all audit requirements
• Actively support and comply with all health and safety policy, procedures and regulations
• Adhere to company dress standards and punctuality
• Perform other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner

Key Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Educational Requirements Secondary School or High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience 2-3 years inventory or stock control experience
Licenses / Certifications
Critical knowledge & skills
including tools, software
applications, language, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications
Fluency in English language and other language(s) as required by location
Other Qualifications / Core Competencies
• Accuracy and attention to detail and number
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well with personnel at various levels
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Function as a resourceful and proactive team member
