Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Technology or related field and 7 years of related experience; an Associate's Degree in a related field with 11 years of related experience; or 12 years of related experience. • The ability to obtain NICET Level III in Water-Based System Layout, Fire Alarm Systems, or Special Hazard Systems within one year of employment. Multiple NICET certifications strongly preferred. • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain access authorization to facilities and data of existing and potential clients, including, but not limited to Department of Energy, Department of Defense, aerospace, food and consumer product manufacturers, pharmaceutical, laboratories, and others necessary to perform work. • Familiarity with building codes, fire codes, NFPA standards, FM Global datasheets, military standards, and refinery/industrial API guidelines is strongly preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills is required. • Highly motivated self-starter, strong attention to detail, ability to distinguish discrepancies, and able to prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with Revit is preferred, willingness and ability to learn new software is required. • Capable of successfully solving challenging problems which require the adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, or criteria. • Ability to take direction from and work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment. Compensation Range $145,000 - $200,000 The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
