Job Responsibilities
  • Provide effective financial administrative planning and control on development and sustaining programs
  • Provide Earned Value Management leadership, training, and assistance to program teams in support of reporting, scheduling, and financial management utilizing EVM tools and processes
  • Develop program Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) for earned value or project management purposes
  • Establish a Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) and CWBS dictionary
  • Define, document, and implement project financial management practices and procedures based on prior experience and industry best practices
  • Participate and support Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) activities
  • Perform analysis of program cost and schedule performance, identifying trends, and providing information to Program Management for corrective action implementation
  • Partner with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to ensure success in their respective work scope areas
  • Preparation and analysis of Estimates at Complete (EACs) and financial support to assigned program teams
  • Support Program Management in assessing program risks and opportunities
  • Display good verbal and written communication skills, be a team player, and have good working knowledge of company business systems and policies, contracting processes and earned value management techniques
  • Accommodate unexpected events, achieve critical deadlines with quality results and perform as a flexible team member in support of the objectives and initiatives of the business
  • Submit sales forecasts and monitor forecasts for risks and opportunities

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline (Accounting / Finance) or six years of relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Earned Value Management industry standards and practices
  • Extensive experience in MS Excel
  • Proven experience presenting to large groups and executive leadership
  • Ability to work full time at our Irvine, CA location
Preferred skills
  • SAP and Cobra experience preferred
